Day Job:
As a Clery Compliance Specialist, I collaborate the various campus departments to ensure that Auburn is in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (The Clery Act) by identifying and training those on campus who are responsible for reporting allegations of Clery Act crimes, known as Campus Security Authorities (CSAs). My specific focus areas include management of CSAs, policy development, and recordkeeping.
Favorite Auburn Experience:
My favorite Auburn experience is storming the field following the 2017 Iron Bowl win. Being on the field surrounded by the Auburn family was an unforgettable experience of my undergraduate career at Auburn. I will always cherish the memories of singing the fight song and alma mater on the 50-yard line with the players and Auburn family after an incredible Tiger victory.
Interests:
I enjoy reading non-fiction, crochet, and roller skating. I have played on a roller derby team since 2019 and love the high energy and women’s empowerment that comes along with the sport. I am an avid traveler; I love to explore different cultures and see other places around the world. My favorite location I have visited thus far has been the Adriatic coast of Croatia. Nothing compares to the breathtaking views of the Dubrovnik walls at sunset. Additionally, I enjoy learning new languages; I speak German and Turkish. I’m currently learning Japanese.
